The 5th International Conference on
Embedded & Distributed Systems
EDiS'2026

with inter-sector workshops on Smart Farming & Smart Health

November 2-5, 2026, University of Oran 1, Ahmed Ben Bella, Oran, Algeria

Accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore,
subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

About EDiS'2026

The EDiS'2026 conference, which follows on from the EDiS'2015, EDiS'2017, EDiS'2020, 2022 and 2024 conferences, provides an opportunity for academic researchers to publish the results of their research and discuss the various problem-solving approaches that fall within the conference themes.

EDiS'2024 was held in a city in southern Algeria, namely the Tahri Mohamed University in Bechar. For the first time, a workshop dedicated to intelligent agriculture in the South was organized in conjunction with the conference.

In line with the EDiS strategy established in 2017, for the first time EDiS'2026 will encompass two inter-sector workshops: one on Smart Farming and the other on Smart Health.

The conference will also be an opportunity for executives from the socio-economic sector to present their problems and discuss approaches and solutions with university researchers. This meeting between the academic and socio-economic sectors could lead to the setting up of joint, multi-sectoral research projects, the results of which will have a positive impact on the country's economy and society in general.

Accepted papers will be submitted for possible inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
