Under the authority of the Rector, the General Secretary is responsible for the administrative management of the university and ensures compliance with the administrative rules.

Indeed :

 - to ensure the management of the careers of university staff in accordance with the prerogative of the faculty and the institute in matters,

- to prepare the draft budget of the university and to follow the execution,

- to guarantee the following of the financing of the activities of laboratories and research units,

- to ensure the proper functioning of the common services of the university,

- to implement and promote the cultural and sport programs of the university,

- to guarantee the following and coordination of the university's internal security plans in relation to the ministerial internal security office of the internal security,

- to ensure the management and preservation of the archives and documentation of the rectorate,

- to ensure the functioning and the management of the university registry office.


The general secretary, to which the general office and the internal security office are attached, comprises the following sub-divisions:

  • Staff and training sub-directorate
  • Sub-Directorate of Budget and Accounting
  • Sub-direction of means and maintenance
  • The sub-directorate of scientific, cultural and sport activities
  • The common services of the university
