« This Smart Farming workshop is a natural follow-up to the 4th edition of the conference, which took place in November 2024. In addition to providing an update on the implementation of the recommendations from the fourth edition, the workshop aims to inform farmers and decision-makers about the importance of biotechnology and computer science research and the application of research results from the three laboratories in accordance with the Ministry's new guidelines. "One Degree, One Startup" to help them make their farms profitable. The initial idea is to compare the research results of the three laboratories—the Rhizobia Biotechnology and Plant Breeding Laboratory (LBRAP), the Laboratory of Parallel, Embedded, and High-Performance Computing (LAPECI), and the Laboratory for Research in Industrial Computing and Networks (RIIR)—by listening to farmers' concerns and presenting them with the platform and/or software developed by combining research results from various sectors. This will enable elegant and precise management of cultivated land and the creation of pilot farm data in the long term. »
The detailed workshop program will be announced soon.
