2nd edition of the President’s Award of the Republic for the Innovative Researcher

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the opening of applications for the second edition of the President of the Republic Award for the Innovative Researcher, intended for teachers-researchers, permanent researchers and university students who have carried out innovative projects combining originality, scientific impact and economic benefits.

Objective of the prize
This distinction aims to encourage scientific research, innovation and technological development, in order to promote the knowledge economy and transform research results into concrete solutions for national development.

Science and technology | Health sciences | Environment and sustainable development | Human and social sciences | Information security | Food security | Water security | Energy security

Amount of rewards

1st prize: 5,000,000 DZD

2nd prize: 3,000,000 DZD

3rd prize: 2,000,000 DZD

Opening of the digital registration platform: November 16, 2025

Deadline for applications: January 16, 2026 (at midnight)

Announcement of results and award ceremony: April 16, 2026
