The UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education rewards innovative and outstanding contributions made by individuals, institutions, and organizations in support of girls’ and women’s education. It is the first UNESCO Prize of its kind, playing a unique role in highlighting successful projects that promote and improve educational opportunities for girls and women and, consequently, their quality of life.
