The National Commission of Free Software in collaboration with the University Djillali Liabes, Sidi Bel Abbes
organize a Linux and Free Software School for PhD students from all fields.
No prerequisites are required for participation in this school.
Thbjective being to introduce participants to the philosophy and practice of free software.
The programme focuses on the following areas:
Installation and discovery of Linux as an example of free software.
Free writing tools.
Various tools (messaging, survey, etc).
Free development tools (python, octave, etc).
Introduction to system and network administration.
The methodology is practice-oriented, it is strongly recommended that participants bring their computers
cell phones.
The number of places is very limited, registration must be done via the following link:e objective being to introduce participants to the philosophy and practice of free software.
