“unesco / Juan Bosch Prize 2026” to promote research in the humanities and social sciences in Latin America and the Caribbean, and to present candidates for the award that honors young researchers in the field of social development policies
It should be noted that:
- This award is funded by the Government of the Dominican Republic and is worth $12,000 | US awarded to the author or authors of a winning thesis;
- Qualified researchers must be under 40 years of age;
- Research is linked to the positive social transformations of the region;
- Each nomination file includes a written recommendation presenting the candidate’s path, achievements and work that demonstrates his contribution to social transformations in Latin America and the Caribbean;
- Nominations are submitted through the Algerian National Committee, to which the Directorate of University Cooperation and Exchange is responsible for submitting them within deadlines not exceeding February 15, 2026
- Nominations submitted directly by individual candidates are not accepted;
