Applications are now open for the Emir Abdelkader Chair Scholarship Program at Oxford

As part of the launch of the Emir Abdelkader Chair at the University of Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), applications are open for the research scholarship program for researchers and professors from Algerian universities.

Eligible fields include:
Anthropology, Economics, Geography, History, International Relations, Law, Literature, Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, Sociology, and Social Sciences.

Application deadline: July 30, 2026.

Applications must be submitted online through the Visiting Fellowships application portal of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies.
