General Secretariat

The General Secretariat of the university is under the responsibility of the Secretary General, in charge of the functioning of the administrative and financial structures under its responsibility, the administration and the common structures.

The Secretary General is in charge of:

  • Ensuring the management of university workers careers according to the attributions of the faculty and institute in this regard;
  • Preparing university budget project and to follow up the execution ;
  • Ensuring the financial follow up of the activities of laboratories and research unities;
  • Ensuring the good management of university common services ;
  • Executing and enhancing university cultural and sport activities;
  • Ensuring the follow up and coordination of  university internal security programs, linking with the ministerial internal security office;  
  • Ensuring the management and conservation of archives and rectorate documents.
  • Ensuring the functioning and management of university office order.

Sous-directions

Its functions:

  • managing the careers of management staff and common interests appointed by the President,
  • Develop and implement plans for the training, development and restructuring of the administrative and technical staff of the University and the interests of the University,
  • Ensure the management of the University’s staff and their compatible distribution among the colleges,
  • Coordination of the development and implementation of the University’s human resources management plans,

Its functions

  • Preparation of the budget of the University based on the proposals of the deans of the colleges,
  • Monitoring the implementation of the University’s budget,
  • Prepare credits for college deans and monitor their implementation,
  • Monitoring of funding of research activities carried out by research laboratories,
  • Updating the University’s accounts,
    The interests of this directorate:
    Department of Budget and Accounting,
  • Department of Research Financing.

Its functions

  • Ensure the provision of operational resources for the structures and common interests of the Directorate,
  • Ensure the maintenance of the Directorate’s assets, furniture and buildings and common interests,
  • Update inventory records.
  • Ensure the preservation and maintenance of the University’s archives,
  • Manage the Directorate’s fleet of vehicles.

Its functions

  • Promotion and development of scientific and cultural activities within the university for the benefit of students,
  • Establishment of recreational activities,
  • Support sports activities as part of university sport,
  • Undertake social work activities for the benefit of University staff,

The Central Library of the university as a place of conservation, work and training is a common service of the University, it is intended exclusively for students and teachers of the university. It is responsible for providing users with the documentation necessary for study and research in all disciplines taught at the university and for ensuring a bibliographic and documentary orientation and teaching mission, provide training in the use of new techniques that promote access to scientific and technical information.
