The Dubai International Award for Best Sustainable Development Practices in Improving Living Conditions was founded under the guidance of the late Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum during the United Nations International Conference on Human Settlements held in Dubai, reflecting the policy and commitment of the Government of Dubai and the Government of the United Arab EmEmIrirates towards Sustainable Settlements and Environmental Protection Protection.
